Busy 3rd Week in GEO 7

In this week, we had to do many things.

First, on Wednesday & Thursday we participated in the Presentation contest!
We prepared our contest for a week, and every team made an effort to give the best presentation. Wednesday was the presentation day of classes 2-1 and 2-2. Their topics were "Life in G.E.O." and "How to do something". They made a speech about "Going on a diet", "How to Propose"and "White day candy" and so on.  I think they had many good ideas about their topic. Their pronunciation was excellent, and they even performed well.

Group Presentation

Thursday was Level 3-1, 4-1's presentation day. First, level three's topic were about their role model and the country that people should visit. The level 4's topic were "Can we make a difference?" and "If I were the president of CUK". In my case especially, I expected so much on that day, because I like to give a presentation about something. My team's topic was "Can we make a difference for the world?". In my part I told about Nuclear energy and Stem Cell. The topic was a bit serious. However, it was interesting because I posted many interesting video clips. Eventually, the audiences concentrated on my presentation, but we won the third prize. Although we were disappointed, I was satisfied with our presentation because we did our best.

"Can We Make a Difference for our World?"

On Wednesday August 11th, we had the 4th team competition. It was the Country Quiz! The procedure of the game was to prepare fifteen multiple-choice questions of their own team and to study about other teams in advance. In our team's case, New Zealand, each person made three questions and then gathered them and chose the best fifteen. All students chose one answer among A, B or C. It was similar to O.X quiz. The students who answered all questions correctly and survived for the last round got points for their team. We prepared questions about each country's capital, famous city, highest mountain, famous people and so on.
In the competition, our team New Zealand won the 1st prize.

Aside from the team rank, I believe it was a precious time where we had the opportunity to study about different countries.
