Class 4-1 with Prof. Davin and TA Hee Jung
Our class is 4-1 and we have nine classmates. Last July 27 was the 2nd day of the camp but we did a lot of things. On the first day in David's class, we had to draw ourselves. The activity was very fun because we had to figure out who it was. As we introduced ourselves, we enjoyed time with each and every one! We were really worried and were shy but the interesting class made us confident. Professor David wanted us to speak English loudly and quickly. I think he wanted to change our idea about English and he succeeded because we spoke English better that made our afternoon class a lot easier. Peter's class was fun too. He treated us to ice cream and we were so happy^^
During this day, we had more advanced lessons in every class like acting, making a family, and so on. We are making progress so we expect to last 28days♡
Let's have fun. Team play!
The first team competition of GEO was the speed quiz. It began in the Global lounge at 6:30 pm last July 28. First, the TAs explained the speed quiz. It is played by 4 members. Three people would have to describe a word, and the other person has to guess it. They can use sounds, gestures and facial expressions. If all three people cannot describe it, the team gets a minus point. Teams have only 2minutes/round to guess as many words as possible.
Three students would have to describe the word
One student would have to guess the word
Students shout and cheer for their teams!
There are 4 teams in GEO7 now - Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and Jamaica. The team captains decided which team goes first by drawing lots. The game began, in order from New Zealand, Ireland, Jamaica and Australia. It came out a closer match than anyone had thought possible. Everyone was excited and the place was filled with shouts and cheers. After 50 minutes, the winner came into view. The winner was Team Australia (25points); the second winner was Team Ireland (24points); the third winner was Team Jamaica; and Team New Zealand came in fourth. Every team did their best!
1st - Team Australia
2nd - Team Ireland
3rd - Team Jamaica
4th - Team New Zealand
The next team competition is Sports so all teams have to practice!
