If you are looking for places you want to travel, I would like to recommend Ulleung Island. Actually, Ulleung Island is not popular than Jeju Island though, I might say that Ulleung Island is one of the beautiful place in Korea. You can go to Jeju Island, both by air or sea. However, when you go to the Ulleung Island, you can only take a ship.
To reach Ulleung Island, you have to go to the terminal by riding a ship in Pohang. It will take around four hours. In 2008, I went to Ulleung Island with my family. Until I went there, I didn’t understand why do people go there. However, as soon as I saw emerald beaches, my ordinary thought was changed. Even though there are good resort hotels, I recommend you make a reservation for private house so that you could experience the traditional their life-style. There are a lot of bizarre rocks. You can look around all of them by riding the cruise ship.
The famous well-known local products of Ulleung Island are dried squid and pumpkin candy. In addition, if you love to eat seafood, Ulleung Island could be considered a paradise on earth. Seafoods sold in the island are not only cheap, they are fresh as well. You can eat freshly-caught seafood (of all kinds). Furthermore, if you want to take a trip around Ulleung Island, you can take a taxi. The cost is a little expensive though, but you can get a priceless memory from your travel that you'll surely never forget.
Jeonju City
In Jeonju, many traditional and historic sites are excellently preserved. There are traditional culture learning centers such as art crafts exhibition halls, master products exhibition centers, Hanok Living Experience centers, traditional alcohol museum, Hanji centers, and herbal medicine experience centers. People can also participate in learning about and making traditional art crafts. Jeonju offers visitors much to see, do and eat. When I went there, I’ve tried many kinds of Korean food such as Bibimbap and Korean table d'hote .

Jeonju Hanok Village has 700 traditional Korean houses, Hanok that are still home to residents today. Hanok Village is the best-preserved living traditional village. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Korea. Jeonju also hosted the FIFA World Cup 2002, which saw grand scale refurbishments to many areas in Jeonju for World Cup visitors
Historically, the neighboring area of Kyo-dong, Pungnam-dong and the urban Hanok are the living record of Korea’s modernization process and the transformation of housing since 1910. Many scholars and civil organization demand the preservation and management of the area with important governmental authority to provide preservation, improvement and management under strict supervision. Jeonju’s urban Hanok Village is the only place that so well preserves the old traditional streets, houses and structures from Korea’s past.

So if you want to experience real Korean life, I recommend Jeonju City.
These are the two best places in Korea that my partner and I could recommend
So what are you waiting for? Pack those bags and have a wonderful trip!!!
