Interview with Prof. Victoria Jo.

Journalist(J) :

Hello, Professor Victoria! I'm Eun-hye, Park. The representative from the press club. I will ask some questions to you.
First, where did you get the idea from the GEO program?

Prof. Victoria (V) :

The president and the vice president want the students of The Catholic university to speak English fluently before they graduate. So he suggested to me to create a special English program. Then, I planned this GEO program with professor Hee-woo, Park. I discussed the detail with professors Nico le Roux & Hee-woo, Park. We had meetings twice a week for the past two months.

J : Secondly, although only two days passed, what do you think of the GEO program so far? Is it going to fit your first intention?

V : It is not exactly like my first idea, because we had to move the place of GEO program. As you know the new building was not completed, but the program seems to be going well. I'm happy to see the students enjoying this program. However, the schedule is tighter for all people than I expected. Anyway, it's similar to my first plan.

J : And I have a last question. If all the students follow the professors well, will we be good at English?

V : Definitely!! Yes, I'm sure you can improve your English skills. Just believe us and try to do your best.
