There are many things to do in the Global Lounge. You can go to the information desk and ask for DVDs or games such as Halli Galli. But the best thing about the Global Lounge is that you can practice your English. You can speak with the OBF masters and teaching assistants (TAs). There are also other foreign students there too.
We talked with a couple of Filipino TAs. We talked about our majors and current events. Although some students have difficulty speaking and are shy, it was a good opportunity for us. If you have any worries about speaking English, then you should go to the Global Lounge and speak as much as you can.
