5. What are your likes and dislikes?
I guess I am really into playing sports. As far as I remember even when I was in elementary school I played sports with my friends after school. Even now when I have time, I go to the gym on Saturdays to play basketball with friends. My second love is of course traveling. Since I came back to Korea, I have been around everywhere in Korea. For my last summer vacation I decided to go to Osaka, Japan for a few days. It was different and interesting. I have decided to at least travel to a different country per year. I’m also very fond of pets. I always grew up with pets, usually dogs. Now I have discovered cats can be very affectionate companions, too. Having pets, I truly believe that they also take care of you, heal your wounds, and give you unconditional love. You cannot ask for anything more than that!
6. For my dislikes, I can’t think of much now… but if you run into me, you can ask then I will tell you.
7. What keeps you busy during your spare time?
I am not quite busy these days, so in my spare time, I watch movie, rest and prepare for class.

8. What do you like most about Korea?
I have to say people. Californians usually describe California as the melting pot because of ethnic diversity. It is amazing feeling living in Korea with Koreans.

I am very fortunate to be involved in GEO program. I like what GEO stands for. The program focuses on developing most needed skill, speaking. I understand that it is the most difficult component of English to improve upon, especially learning in Korea. I have told my students that mastering a language is a long journey however, with each step you can be closer to achieving your goal. And it is absolutely achievable goal. We have dedicates staff who are here to guide you in your journey. Thus you are not alone.
11. For you, a good student is someone who…?
I love a student who is active and motivated.
