An Extraordinary Tuesday with Class 3-2

Last July 13th, we had a field trip to the theater and ice rink!

Early in the morning, we met in CGV Yeokgok and watched Knight & Day with discounted admission fees. The movie was really fun! Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were fantastic actors! Knight & Day has action and a little bit of romance and it’s so~so~so~~cute. I think the movie story doesn’t make sense but anyway it was fun!

After that, we went to Yeokgok station and while waiting for the subway we took some pictures.

And then we transferred to line 5 at Singil station and finally when we reached Omok Station, we decided to eat lunch so we looked for a restaurant.

Actually, there were many restaurants but no available seats so we kept searching.

Voila! At last we found a restaurant.

We ordered budae jjigae and soy bean noodles. I ate budae jjigae with Jung Gyun and Sharon ^_^

It was delicious! At first, I was worried about Sharon because I heard Korean food is too pungent for foreigners. But after tasting budae jjigae Sharon said "It’s good" so we were relieved and I was happy.

After lunch, we walked to Mokdong ice rink.

Because it was not far, we walked about 20 minutes and then we reached our destination!

But when we entered the ice rink, the Yonsei University Ice Hockey Team was practicing so we watched them for over 10 minutes. Afterwards, we bought tickets and put on skates and we started skating!

At first I couldn’t skate well but after adapting to the skates, I got better.

My other classmates enjoyed skating too. For Kyung-min, it was her first time to skate.

First, she fell down a lot and she barely remained standing by holding onto the rail but she tried to skate so finally her skating skill got better and she became a good skater!

Prof. David enjoyed skating too! :D He kept practicing how to brake during skating even though other people were skating all around him. David practiced again and again and finally became better~

Jae-sung, Jung-gyun, and Dong-bin are really good skaters! They were flying like birds all around the ice rink. Su-in, Hi-jin, and Ji-eun were good too, especially Su-in. She was really amazing! She was better than the 3 guys!! . Su-in knows about how to brake while skating and she said she likes skating.

We skated for 2 hours. It was a really good time. We enjoyed our field trip this summer.

I think skating in summer is a good way to get away from the heat!
