Everyone knows that Halloween is on October 31. However, because of the CUK and GEO class schedules, OBF and GEO had to host their annual Halloween party on October 27, 28 and 29. In my case, I chose Thursday because I have a GEO class on Wednesday.
I was happy to participate in this party. It was a really new experience for me. Halloween party was in the Global Lounge located on the first floor of the International hub building. Before entering the party premises, I was nervous. But in the end, I enjoyed the party. Various Halloween decorations, dark lighting, and eerie music gave me a creepy feeling. I met many students who were talking about other students about American culture. A lot of GEO students participated the Halloween party. This party’s program is composed of a True/False Quiz (O/X Game), where Halloween questions were asked to all participants. Other party games include moving jelly-beans with chopsticks, charades, the Korean genius (similar to the Pinoy henyo game in the Philippines, where the audience will guess the word placed in the contestant's forehead). I tasted pumpkin Pie for the first time. I also had chocolate cookies and apple juice and various fruit. Overall I enjoyed the party.
