The Office of International Affairs hosted a Seminar on Korea Spirit and Culture last November 5 in Nichols Room 412 for international students. Film on Korean history and culture including short documentaries about Tripitaka Koreana, Korean advancements during recent years (in the fields of science and technology, engineering, among others) , Korean business (electronics and construction industries, etc), the sacrifices of King Sejong the Great were shown to the attendees. There was also explanations and short descriptions on some important aspects of the Korean culture. The volunteers from the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) group also had Sebae performance. They also had some Korean snacks available for the attendees. A book is also given to each of the attendees to further understand the Korean culture.
