Meet the GEO 15 Team

Time flies so fast. It’s Day Four already. We hope that you are having fun learning English the GEO way ❁◕‿◕❁

First week is almost over. We hope you know who your Teachers and Teaching Assistants (TA) are. For those who don’t know yet, here’s to familiarize you with the personalities involved in this camp.

As most of you know, we have Professor/TA team for our GEO camps. For our professor line up, aside from our roster of GEO professors last fall semester – Professor Tom Kim, Professor Roger Foard, Professor Nigel Power, Professor Peter Jenkins, Professor Stephen Jones, we have three previous GEO professors who joined us once again to add fun to GEO 15. Professor Gregory Mac Neill (or Professor Greg for most of us), Professor Jerry Tumlinson and Professor David Lee are back. We also have our Practical Conversation English (PCE) professor, Professor Nathan Rice to help us out this winter camp. In addition, Professor Johan Reiners is also present this camp.

Our veteran TAs are also back. We have our very able teaching assistants – Jin, Hani, China, Mario and Gellene – who willingly help students out in their English and GEO related concerns. We also have new TAs – Andrew, Revan, Ilene, Boram, Peter – who are equally competent in carrying out the tasks at hand.

Let us also acknowledge our team captains – Korean team captain, Ezzy Lee and Foreign team captain, Jonathan Libut. We also have our GEO administrator, Carol Manzano and our Foreign teaching assistant coordinator, Karina Chua. Working enthusiastically, we have our amiable English Clinic/ event teaching assistants – Morris, Jinu, Eby, Justin, Isabella, Gerard, Twamzy and Marnel; our lively radio jocks – Rae, Enrique, Dee, Alex and EJ; our diligent archiving team, Angeline and Alessa.

Together, these people are the team who are behind GEO 15. Let’s recognize their efforts in making this GEO 15 possible.
