Remembering our loved ones |
Memorial Day is June 6th. This day is declared as a legal holiday as it
is a time to think about our forefathers who devoted their lives for Korea.
Including the President, people usually go to the National Cemetery. At 10 am,
it is a moment of silence with sirens. We also raise the national flag.
But to be honest, I did not do these actions like thinking our ancestors
or hanging the national flag. Actually, I am very happy during June 6th. The
reason why is because it is a holiday. I am feel ashamed when I didn’t do the practices
in the past.
From now on, I will worship our forefathers and raise the national flag
on June 6th. If the opportunity comes, I want to visit at National Cemetery on
June 6th.
