GEO Water Sports by candlelight!

On the evening of August 4th, all the students went to lawn. TheT.A.s prepared a game with water guns and candles! They explained how to play the game.

The first game was a “candle-relay race” . Sixteen people in each team could participate in that game. They didn’t have to run fast, but they had to keep the candle burning. Slow and steady, was the key of winning the game. If someone’s candle light went out, the T.A.’s helped them to light it again. It was very difficult to keep the candle light burning!

The first game’s winner was New Zealand. The second team was South Africa, and the third team was Australia.

The second game was “Squirt out the candle light with a watergun”. They had to blow out the other team’s candle light with a water gun. But they had to save their own light. The candle light was the teams "life" and they had to protect it.

Everyone was so eager to be a winner, so, someone was even a bit hurt by a nail or a fist. And everyone was wet!! Anyway, after the fierce competition, USA was the winner. Some losing teams enjoyed their defeat and played “towel turning”. Students said it was a little bit aggressive, but that was very interesting and a lot of fun!
