GEO is not only about classes. It is learning English in different social settings. Upholding its thrust of providing a multidimensional course of study through providing a unique social and cultural experience, GEO continues its tradition of holding worthwhile and fun parties for the students. This summer, instead of the usual GEO Cheese and Wine Party, the GEO 18 team decided to hold its first GEO 18 Social Evening event.
The party was held in International Hub 366 last July 6 (Friday). Students were encouraged to participate through rendering song or dance performances. Each team showed their themed dance number. The audience were amazed and mesmerized with the dance performances. During the presentations, we discovered hidden talents of our GEO students, teaching assistants (TAs) and professors. In addition, there were various band performances from the GEO students. We enjoyed pop music, as well as hip hop and rock renditions from our student bands. Kudos to our performers.
Congratulations to our TAs and Professors. To our emcees, our team TAs and our Korean, Filipino and other foreign TAs present during the event. Thank you so much for helping out and for preparing a great party for GEO 18 students. Indeed, it was a night of fun and stress-free social gathering. A sure hit filled with interactive games and enjoyable entertainment rolled out after another! To know what we’re talking about, Simply scroll down to see the evidence!
