Introducing Our Homeroom

Class 1-1
Kim Sang Yeop, Park Sang Ho, Lim Si Baek, Lee Jun Hyeok, Lee Seung Hun, An Byung Kook, Ahn Sung Hee, Lee Hye Jin, Lim Seung Hyuk, Sin Sung Bum, and Choi Sang Hoon

Our first impression of Prof. Jerry and TA MJ was that they are nice. The whole class liked them. We were sure that we can learn English with them. It was a relief that Prof. Jerry used easy words in class and MJ helped us with English. We just spoke simple English words at first then, we began trying to speak in full sentences.

And for an icebreaker, Prof. Jerry made up a quiz with multiple choice answers about his different experiences in life. It was interesting. Also, when MJ introduced herself to us, we were surprised that she is fluent in English because she is still young.

All of our classes were relaxed and lively. NO STRESS! This made learning English easier. At first, when we played games in English, we couldn’t quite understand the rules. Later on, it became easier and easier for us to understand them because they were kind of the same instructions. We liked it when MJ explained the rules in an easier way.

The textbook’s contents were easy for us to learn. However, they didn’t really help our speaking skills. But still, we liked it when Prof. Jerry asked questions based on the contents of the textbook and we had to answer him. This helped improve our skills in speaking English.

It was hard for us to prepare for the Individual Presentations in English but we were lucky that Prof. Jerry helped us even on weekends. The least favorite thing of our class was the OPIC Test taken at the Listening Lab. We couldn’t hear and understand the questions.
