In the GEO Program, there were 7
teams. Team Ireland, Philippines, Tanzania, South Africa, Jamaica, New Zealand,
and Scotland. We had four competitions the entire winter camp. For the
competitions, we made up team cheers and when we had a competition, we
encouraged our teammates by cheering for them with our special chants. This
cheering made each of our teams closer to each other and our team members. We
had many competitions such as, Speed Quiz, Guessing Game, Sports Night, and
Treasure Hunt. In each competition, only a certain amount of people could
compete and although we personally did not participate in some of the
competitions, we cheered the others who did on.
The
competitions in the GEO program helped us because the competitions we did
participate in helped us practice our English. In this program, we did not only
improve our English ability, but also learned values from each other as well! We
really want to thank the GEO program for everything and we want participate in
GEO program again! Thank you!
