I want to visit Turkey. We usually say that
Turkey is brother country of Korea, so I feel familiar with this country.
Turkey is located in the middle of Asia and Europe. So it has both Asian
cultural beauty and European cultural beauty. I think Turkey is twice beautiful
than other countries. It has many famous cities. Istanbul has may world famous
buildings like Blue mosque and Ayasofya. Blue mosque is a one of the Turkish
temples. And Ayasofya is known to be the best byzantine architecture.
Safranbolu is the world biggest spice area of production. And it is designated
as the UNESCO World Heritage site. Because it has preserved Ottoman Turkish
Empire’s building very well. Cappadocia is famous movie set for ‘Star Wars’.
And it is also designated as a UNESCO World natural site. Cappadocia is famous
for balloon tour. You can ride the hot-air balloon to fly the sky. Balloon tour
is very expensive. However, the view is very wonderful and it doesn’t look like
it belongs to this world. Antalya is near the Mediterranean. So we can see the
grand sight of the Mediterranean. There are many yachts. Fethiye is famous for
Turkish tourist attraction. There was the ancient city, Telmessos. So, it’s
antique. And it is famous for paragliding city.
Turkey is considered to be one of the top
three food countries in the world. Typical Turkish food is Kebab. Kebab is a
sort of food wrapped with tomato, beef, chicken, vegetable, and so on. And
there is a dessert called Dondurma. It is typical Turkish ice-cream. It is made
of milk, sugar, salep, mastic. It’s derived from Maras. So many people call
Maras’s ice-cream. And also there is Baklava. It is also a dessert and made of
nuts and pastry. It is very sweet but it has high calories.
