GEO25 and Movies

Movie effects on our society

Journalism Club 2 - GEO25

Usually movies describes our real life whether the movie is based on a real story or not.
Some movies make us have fun, some other movies make us not only have fun, but also help us to deeply think about it.
Through that, we can think about our real life and what is the right thing.
For example, a few months ago I watched a movie called ‘pay it forward’.
It’s about a boy who wants to change the world. This boy got an assignment from his social class. The teacher asked the students to ‘Do something that can change the world.’ So this little boy made a plan, which was helping people. He helped 3 people and the people who got the boy’s help, they should help someone else. If people started to help each other, his plan would succeed.
This movie was really impressive. After I watched it, I really tried to think about changing the world. And I asked myself lots of questions. ‘What makes people help each other?’. ‘Which world is good?’, ‘Why don’t people  care about other people that much?’ questions like these.
Movies make us think about our life, neighbors, and society.
Movies have a power that could force people to do something.
If a movie could get sympathy from many people that means people could do something better for society.
