Feedbacks: The GEO Radio Broadcast
GEO radio DJ’s pronunciation were really good to listen to. When DJs gave us information or quizzes, we know that they try to explain slowly and accurately. It helped us understand the broadcast easily and it enabled us to follow the content of the discussion. We listened without any fear or stress. We think GEO radio is really good for us to raise our listening skills.
Initially, we thought that listening to the radio in English could be a challenge. But on the contrary, it was really fun. They played the exciting music we liked, and we felt really great. When it seemed like boring, they play current English songs. It is a good strategy to play some English songs during the broadcast. However it seemed that GEO radio has some electronic problems. When it starts, we could hear some squeaky microphone sound and some pauses for a couple of seconds. We hope GEO radio makes improvement soon so it can run smoothly. Except for those of problems, we think that GEO radio is a good program. We could listen to it with so much fun.

We couldn’t believe that our school’s Filipino students are running the GEO radio. They sound like real professional radio DJ’s. The pronunciation and tone (their way of speaking) are really nice to listen to. It seems like they enjoy running the radio too. When we listened to the GEO radio at that time, our class TA was the guest of the day. We really enjoyed hearing her opinions. During the radio discussion, DJs shared their opinion about the day’s topic and it was really nice to follow them and compare our opinion with them.
