Our Multi-Cultural Teaching Assistants

The Men...
(L-R: Glenn, Van, Byeongsoo, Jae Hyun and Jam)

The Lovely Ladies
(L-R: Katherine, Jinwoo, Kate, Sehyun, Maricris, Youngju and Dawn)

During the GEO program the professors were ably assisted by a group of Catholic University of Korea (CUK) Student Teaching Assistants (Some are in the photos above). One half of the group are exceptional Korean undergraduate students ---who are not even English majors!--- who have shown a good command of the English language. The other group is composed of Masters-level students from the Philippines as part of CUK's far-reaching plan of "internationalizing" the University. The seeming cultural difference between these two groups was quashed by the unifying spirit of the English language.

Both groups are ever expanding as GEO is growing! The ranks of the Korean Teaching Assistants have been fortified by the promotion of impressive students who have proven their mettle in previous GEO programs. The number of Filipino Teaching Assistants have likewise increased after the University accepted more bright applicants from the Philippines.

If you want to join these amazing group of students, just inquire at Room number IH 255 in the International Hub Building in CUK's Songsim Campus. You are most welcome to go there. See you.
