Featured TA of the Week: Dan

Shayla: “Dan what do you like most about working in the Global Lounge?”
Dan: “I love playing games with the students in the Global Lounge. I have had a lot of fun with that. I've had some epic battles in Uno, Guess Who?, and Jenga. I have never seen a tie in Jenga before last week. “

S: “What do you find most difficult about doing the English Clinic?”
D:  “What I find hard is starting an hour long conversation with someone that I've just met and trying to keep it interesting. Sometimes I am successful at making the conversation fun and exciting. But there are times where both me and the student are just trying our hardest to find things to talk about and watching the clock at the same time.”
S: “You have been here for almost a month, what do you like the most?”
D: “What I like about Korea so far are the people. I have really enjoyed meeting new people every day and making friends. I like to do fun activities around Korea, but meeting new people and learning about their culture is what makes this an international trip for me.”

S: “Are you a TA for any of the clubs?”
D: “I am the TA for the Card Sharks Club with Roger Foard. So far we have played Crazy Eights and Hearts. I get to show the students how to play the games and speak English with them. But Roger won't let me show them how to cheat; all in all it is a very fun club to be a part of.”
